Personal History
I am a sixteen year old girl who loves to ride and race. I began riding a bike when I was nine years old. I gained interest when my brother began racing and when i broke my arm in the year 2006, I was able to watch many of my brother's races and soon decided that racing was also my calling. Since then I have raced every opportunity that my family has been able to get me to. I practice as often as I can because we have a motocross and hare scramble track of our own.
Riding Goals
This year I am working toward racing again at the Monster Energy Women's Nationals and accomplishing a top three finish overall in the West. At the same time as this, I will be playing on a Tier 2 soccer team here in Edmonton so I won't be attending Walton, Ontario this year. Hitting up local races will be my other way of racing besides from Nationals.
Competitive Highlights
The biggest achievement in my racing career is finishing top three at the Calgary Women's National on June 19, 2011. I also was able to receive the championship in the Beginner Kids class in the Cross Country series here in Alberta my first year of racing. One of the most exciting things I have done though, was being able to train for Nationals with Kyle McGlynn in 2011.
