Rider Updates

While I was practicing for Regionals at San Antonio I had a wreck and broke both bones in my right leg. I have to be off for six weeks while this heals up. I was really looking forward to Qualifying. The good news is that I met my goal for this year tough. I made it to Regionals. I am trying to get well soon enough to go to Ponca.

Thank goodness the break is finally over. I have been practicing every day getting ready for qualifiers. We went to Whitney this weekend just to get away and race again. Had a great time riding with some of the fastest guys in the country. Had some really good races until I flipped my 85. Nothing broken, just screwed up the rest of my day.

I raced another arenacross this weekend and had agreat showing. I finished with a first in the 85 7-11 age group. I also got two second place finishes on my 65 in the 10-11 and the Open classes. I am looking forward to getting back to motocross at Village creek and the Honda of Houston winter series next weekend.Hope to see all of my friends at the track.

I raced this weekend at Lafayette, La. arenacross. I had a great day. I placed first in the 65 10 - 11 age group and third in the 65 open. I also rode really well on my 85 but the competition was really tough in that age group. I finished seventh on that bike. It was a long day, I only had a few hours of sleep so I had gotten really tired by the end of the night. Another really cool thing, I got the hole shot in almost every race. I had some awesome starts.

I had a great weekend at the Frostbite series in Athens Texas. I finished 4th on my 85 in the 7 - 11 age group. This was only my second race after moving up so I was really excited. I also had a good ride on my 65 in the 10 - 11 age group. I led the race up until the last lap. I had a minor crash and fell to third. It rained all day and was cold but it was still a lot of fun.

After talking about moving up for a while we finally made the decision to move up to the age groups this weekend at Freestone. Only one problem, My bike was broke and we couldn't get the part we needed to fix it in so I had to ride a friend's bike. Needless to say, The outcome was not what I had hoped for. I rode the best that i could though and had a great time. Loved the track. I also broke my 65 so I didn't have great results.

I am about to start the Honda of Houston winter series at Freestone this weekend. I will be riding in the 85 beginner, 65 7-9 and 65 open. I have been working really hard at our practice track. I want to win this series really bad. Wish me luck. Check back for my results.
