Personal History

I live on a farm with my Mom, Dad and younger sister. We have three dogs and several cats. My family and I like to go camping and riding out West near Nordegg, Rocky Mountain House, and Caroline.  We enjoy the diverse trials as well as the challenge. I have been trail riding for many years now.  I started riding when I was little.  I began on a Suzuki DRZ 70, then a Kawasaki KLX110, then a KLX140, and currently my favourite, KX100.  I like spending time with my friends and family going camping, shooting hoops, and playing games.  I enjoy swimming, listening to my music, and playing competitive basketball as well as motocross. I also like to relax and watch you tube videos of people doing stunts or watch guys giving tips and tricks on ways to improve my riding skills. My absolute favourite thing to do is race my dirt bike.

Riding Goals

There are many reasons why I love this sport.  Just the feeling of lining up at the gates with all the racers and warming up our bikes.  We wish each other luck and I always like to fist pump my fellow racers.  We are like a little family.  When riding alongside others who are very strong, and fast I am easily challenged which then pushes me to do better.  I have gained a lot of new found confidence on and off the track.  I like the excitement I have rushing through my body when I cross the finish line. It makes me very proud of myself and I also like making my Mom and Dad proud too.  My goal is to place top three in all of my race events in the 2024 race season and to get higher points than I had this past season. I learn a lot from my Dad, he gives me advice on different techniques and strategies on ways to become a stronger rider, and he also teaches me how to maintain my bike.  At the end of the day, I like to have fun, stay positive, and just do my best. I will always get back up and have a smile on my face.

Competitive Highlights

This was my very first year racing ever.  I was racing on my KX100 in the Central Alberta Motocross Series. I placed top three in all of my event races except one and earned ten plaques total from the 2023 race season. Those include three 1st Place plaques, six 2nd Place plaques and one 3rd Place plaque.  I am very happy with my year end points I earned from the season.  In the Girls Class I earned overall 2nd Place Champion, and in my Ladies B Class I earned overall 2nd Place Champion.  I am very proud of myself and am looking forward to the 2024 race season.
