Personal History
I started riding/racing in the early 80's and continued into the mid 90's, when my family and career too priority. My goal at that time was to become a professional AMA Motocross/Supercross rider, but Good had different plans. In 1993 I earned a pro card in the mid West series HPMA, and was hoping to race pro in the SRAC series. I was in the Air Force at the time, stationed in Cheyenne Wyoming (90-94).
I meet my wife Jenny in Cheyenne and we eventually moved to her home state of Oregon where for the next 35+ years I pursued my law enforcement career. I have continued to follow the sport without participation, but have had dirt bikes on hand most of the time.
I grew up in a little town called Independence California not far from Mammoth Mountain which I claim as my hometown track. Still the best outdoor venue in the world in my opinion.
I raced with and against some spectacular riders of the 80s, such as David and Stanton Barrett, Mike Pascarela, Robbie Reynard, and many others. And, ironically, was coached by arguably one of the greatestv riders of the late 70s, early 80s, Rick Burgett an Oregon native.
I wish I could have accomplished more in my early career, but I do have some results and sponsors I have been very proud of. I will list those at the conclusion of my biography.
Here we are, forty +/- years after I started racing. I'm almost 50 years old and will be retiring from law enforcement after 26 years.
I still continue to make relationships in the industry and an good friends with the Hill family. I have recently purchased 6 acres and Monte and Justin will be helping me build my personal Motocross track, a dream come true! I just purchased a new 2020 Kawasaki KX250F and an going to start racing again. As I said earlier, I'd like to earn my pro card, but now it will be in the vet class. Time will tell, but that is the goal.
Thanks to all who too the time to read this, and I look forward to representing you in the future!

Riding Goals
My current goal is to race selective races in the Pacific NW, California, and possibly mid-West. I'll have more opportunity to practice daily and train. I hope by the end of 2021 I'll have gained some of my old speed and confidence.
I would like to earn my A card in the vet class and qualify for Mammoth MX.
I have 3 Grand children one of which will be ready to start riding by the end of the year.
