Personal History

For as long as I can remember I have loved motorcycles and all I ever wanted to do was race motocross.  Even though my parents were totally uninterested or supportive of my dream of racing, I managed to get my first dirt bike when I was 13yrs old. It was a 1977 Honda XL125 and although it wasn’t a motocross bike I tried to ride it like it was and tried to emulate my favorite rider Rick Johnson.  Today, with my destiny in my own hands, I am living a piece of my dream racing amateur motocross.  On August 8th of 2010 I severely broke my jaw in a crash which required surgery.  Since, I am continually asked if I would still continue to ride.  My response, without hesitation, “as soon as I can.”  Motocross is my passion; I put my heart and soul into this sport.  Although I strive to get better, to get faster, and to win, I just feel blessed to be apart of and be around the sport I love.
