Personal History
My name is Shawn Andersen and I grew up in a small town called Winter, WI. While I grew up in this rural area, I’ve ridden for a good portion of my life. I’ve been riding since I was about 8 years and I’ve loved every minute of it. During the winter of 2012 I got my very own atv to start racing.
My first season passed my expectations of how I would end up doing. The beginning of the season was a learning experience for me, getting to know the bike and improving my riding skills were the biggest obstacles. But just before mid season I started to get top 5 finishes and then I finally got a podium. From the midpoint on I was in contention to win most of the races. I had a couple mechanical issues and bad starts that set me back. After it was said and done I ended up finishing 3rd in a series of 14 events.
I am very proud on how I
finished my first year while achieving my goals.
As the next season is on the horizon, I am really excited to dive into my second season. I will be competing in more events, and be riding and practicing as much as can

-Holeshot 10 races
-Win the overall (wixc Series, A Quad)
-Get a top ten in a gncc race
-Improve my motocross riding
-Improve bike control
