Personal History
I am married with two great daughters! I own a health club in Fort Collins, Colorado which has been open for 5 years now. I'm also a personal trainer and performance nutritionist. I have been on a motorcycle since I was 4 years old, and involved with racing since I was 11 years old. In 2007 I moved away from all of the business distracitons in Colorado to Fort Myers Florida so I could train year round in preperation for the 2009 AMA Nationals. I will be competing in the Lites class. I beleive any thing is possible if you put your mind to it and make the commitment to not give up no matter how manny set backs my happen along the way. If you continue to work hard and have a positive attitude you will eventually reach your set goal. I try and teach this to my two daughters on a daily basis. I also belive a persons charater is best judged when no one in around.
Riding Goals
My goals for 2008 are to train and race. Race and Train. Train and Race. Get the picture. It has been impossible to do both owning my business and living in colorado. That is why I'm in Florida chasing my childhood dream of racing the AMA Nationals. My speed is good right now, but I'm working on my conditioning for the 30min plus 2 motos I will be competing in 2009. In 2008 I will race many of the Florida series, (Gold cup, and winter series) but I will also be traveling to alot of out of state races like Lorettas, and Ponca city. In addition to thoes events I am going to race some of the prequel races at the National tracks like Glen Helen, and Southwick.
Competitive Highlights
Growing up in colorado I was the amature state champion twice in 1990 and 1991. After that I took 10 years off to go to finish high school go to college and then open my own business. There have been so many highlights over the years it's hard to single them out. To be quite honest with you just getting the oppertunity at this stage of my life to move to Florida and ride and train for a living is the biggest highlight. Next to my children being born it tis the coolest thing that has ever happend to me and I'm very thank full for it. Most people my age are sitting back talking about their high school glory days or what they could have done if only............ I'm getting the oppertunity to do it!
