Personal History

I started riding on my 6th birthday when I was given my first bike (CRF50). At first I was scared, but it was also fun. For that first year I just rode in back yard. For my 7th birthday one of my friends gave me a book about motorcycles. It had a section in it on MX, and it said that kids could even do it. I asked my dad if I could try racing. He said he would look into it. A few months later I tried my first race on my Honda. It was a lot of fun. My dad asked if I wanted to do it again, and I said, “Yes!” The next race was a little tougher, I was going faster, but the landings were getting harder, and I was having trouble keeping the bike up. After that race, I asked my dad for a new bike, either a Cobra or a KTM so I could be more competitive with the other kids. My dad was great, and got me a new KTM SX50, I finished out that year of racing having a ton of fun, learning quite a bit, and making lots of new friends.
In 2010 I started racing again, getting to try more tracks. It was a great year, towards the end of the year my parents got me a 65 (2008 KTM SX 65). I tried racing it at my last two races, and it was ton of fun. In 2011 I raced on the 65, racing the 65 C (7-12) class, as well as the 65 All (7-12) class. It was a great year, I placed 3rd overall for the 65 All, and received 6th place for both the 65 C Spring and Fall series. In 2012 I was getting better on the 65, still no wins, but seeing real improvement.  In 2013 I finally got a first place, it felt great.  2014 was not quite as good, I had a couple of big crashes, and it took me a little while to mentally get back on my game.  This year I am on the 85 and loving it.  I feel super comfortable on the bike, and am starting to move up in the pack.

Riding Goals

To break into the top 5 on the 85 C.  If I break into the top 5 my dad said he will consider buying a bigger wheel bike for the supermini class.

Competitive Highlights
