Personal History
good day im shaki easton ive raced for 16 years in bda,usa and canada. ive always been a top rider in my country from 80 rite to 450 didnt win my first title until 2004 but was always in the top 5. In 2004 i was the bermuda 125 expert champion ,2005 i was 250 expert champion and second in the 125 class. Ive race at moto park in canada where i won the junior 125 class back in 2002 and top 5 in the 250 junior class that same summer i raced walton where i finished 8th overall in the 250 junior class, in 2003 qualified for lorretta lynns in the c class won my area qualifier but do to bike problems didnt place to good at lorrattes, best finish was seventh i the last heat. i also won a gpg best of georga c class championship in 2003 at breman mxpark, in 2005 i qualified for the southeast regional, but do to bike problems i never made lorrettas that year, the next year i was training to turn pro racing in bda and broke my foot and elbow and quit racing , would still ride a bit but not race still got bikes and want to try turn pro next summer 2012 ,been training my brother and son and they r both champions in bermuda in there classes
Riding Goals
This coming year i plan on racing in bermuda in the 450expert class jus getting some seat time and prepare for 2012 when i will attempt to turn pro , so ill be training myself ,brother and son my brother is getting ready for lorrettas and my son is in the hunt for his second 50 championship
Competitive Highlights
signed up for the fourstroke class when i was a c rider at parker valley and was running top 5 untill someone landed on me and the class was stacked with pro riders including the alessis, another would be my my race at home one xmas ,we bring riders from the us and cananda to bermuda to race but this year they brought a bunch of riders down and i had the chance to battle it out with kyle kelly ,david ottel, clint shealy,kc higgins plus some of the local experts at home it was tons of fun i came 2 in one moto and took a ride to the hospital for the next lol but getting to ride with guys that raced at the top level in the us gave me alot of confidence and most of all because i gave them hell because they couldnt beat a b rider at the time but they r all my friends so it was cool
