Personal History
My name is Sevren Myers, im 23. Ive been riding motocross since i was 8, then took a break for awhile and got back into it in high school. I am an airline pilot for Continental Connection. I had to put my racing plans on hold for awhile so I could complete my pilot training and secure an airline career. Now that I have the time and my schedule allows, I plan on racing every race in the Houston area from now on. I just finished my first race and I cant wait to finish the series. I am a diehard motocross fan.
Riding Goals
Because I've only done one race, Im planning on finishing the Main Event series in the 450 D class and moving up after that. My goal is to finish the series in the top 5. I think thats very possible.
Competitive Highlights
In my first race ever, I didnt have the result I wanted. On the holeshot, I was 4th out of 19 around the first turn and started working my way to the front. Then, the guy in front of me crashed and I had to run over the back side of a berm to aviod hitting him. I lost about 10 spots. I worked my way back to 5th and my bike stalled. I lost another few spots and ended up 12th overall. Considering I had never riden that track and all my bad luck, I was happy with my performance. The rest of the series is at tracks I ride all the time and Im hoping for top 3 at every other stop in the series.
