Personal History

My names Seth and I'm a classic case of a 30 year old with a moto addiction.  I enjoy slow wheelies, replacing lots of rear fenders, casing triple jumps, and blowing out or over berms. Oh and lots of track maintenance.  I didn't throw my leg over a bike until I was well into my 20's, but I'm constantly learning and improving.  Luckily my friends and family are skilled riders that love to teach.  We have access to 16 acres with a full track on it consisting of different jump features, elevation changes, single track, and man-made enduro obstacles. I have ridden lots of bicycles growing up so that has helped me transition to the dirt bike and build good bike skills.

If we are not riding on the weekends or out camping then we do bi-annual ride events in central Oregon. I have a great group of friends that love to moto and have been participating in a yearly Christmas Valley ride in the dunes of Oregon going on 15 years now.

Winter time is bike maintenance around here. I have learned more about mechanics in the last six years from bikes then I did in the first sixteen years of driving old cars.  I have rebuilt both my 2005 YZ450F and 2006 YZ125 over the years reviving craigslist bikes into strong running daily riders and racers.

Beginning in 2018 we did a GP race at Washougal and instantly fell in love with the competitive racing environment beside others with similar interests.  Now we have influenced our friends to come out and participate in organized events and can't wait for 2020.

Riding Goals

For the up and coming 2020 season is to compete in the OMRA XC Cross country series and push my physical fitness.  The races are 2-1/2 or 3 hour long and usually consist of trails and man made obstacles.  My friends are competing in GP series that is a mixture of track and trail. When I have a weekend free from the XC races I plan on attending a few GP's for fun and hopefully stay healthy all year.  I am fortunate enough to have property in the country which we have built a dirt bike track on 16 acres.  It's a perfect place to practice and do drills and moto's along with host 'Track Fridays' to bring friends of all levels together and share the fun. All of our friends come out and BBQ while riding and creating fun races for everyone.  The goal is to keep getting better, build more enduro features on the track, and keep pushing our friends to ride, ride, ride.

In October of 2020 we have a six man team participating in Starvation Ridge 24hr enduro.  We are in the works of planing the transporting of a 2005 WR250 down from Alaska and rebuilding it just for this event. We are in the early stages of planing what we need, what we want to accomplish at the event, and figure out some team goals.
