I started riding in 1990 while enlisted in the USMC. Shortly afterwards I started racing at Carlsbad Raceway. I was hooked that was all it took now I am an addict. I took a break from riding when my kids were born as they needed me to be home.
I have two boys 12 & 17 who also share my addiction. We travel together to the races. We are fortunate to be to have a sport that we can all participate together,it has made us a tight family. I race mostly Hare Scrambles in the forward motion hare scramble series. I will race some motorcross races this year as well. I started racing again when my boys showed interest in racing in 2009. I started in the trailrider class and have steadily moved up into faster, more competative classes. Currently I am in the C-Vet advanced class.
