Personal History
I began racing at the age of 14 and quickly climbed the ranks to the A class in GNCC. After a few years of racing non-stop I made the decision to go to College. I have two bachelor degrees from Appalachian State University. I quite racing during college due to time and money constraints and picked up racing Downhill Mountain Bikes. I moved to Colorado for a few years to race mountain bikes and see how I could do. I recently moved back to North Carolina and just had the urge to race moto again. After buying a new bike I have been riding and racing most of the year, still not back to my really fast days but more practice and time on the bike will get me there. Outside of racing I still mountain bike a lot, being on a bike is my passion. I am also a big white water kayaker. It is fun doing several different types of sports, all of them take their own kind of skill and knowledge and I like to think I am well rounded in all of them.
Riding Goals
for 2015 season I am going to chase a State Championship in North Carolina Harescramble, picking up a few Mid-East races and going and doing several of the GNCC's again. I will be racing 250-A in NC and 250-B in the nationals. I hope to win my first State Championship, all the times before I had a chance injuries or other issues kept me from winning, so now its time to concentrate and practice and train for what I want to accomplish.
