Personal History
Hi, my name is Sean Shepard. I am from griswold,ct and i am 15 years young. I race the 85 expert, the supermini, and the 125 youth amatuer class. i recenlty got 2 big bikes and I am in the progress of getting comfortable on them. I will race them during the second half of the year in the 125 youth amatuer class. The first part of the year, i was racing my supermini in the class. It was tough but i would work my way throught the pack as the moto grew longer. I will be sophomore in high school next year. When i was in middle school I was the president of the Junior national honor society. During my freshman year, I maintained a 3.7 g.p.a. This year my goal was to qualify for Loretta Lynn's in the Northeast region. But, a fall in the first corner the supermini 2 and bad starts kept me from reaching my goal. I am training still for next year because I still have the same goal. My dad pays for all my bike parts and gas while I work for his company called Earthworks. I want to make it a little easier for him by getting sponsors and getting some support. This will make everything easier in the bad economy that we have today. My mom says I am a very outgoing kid and that i will sacrifice anything to be a champion.
Riding Goals
My goals for the upcoming year are to quaifly for Loretta Lynn's in the supermini 1 and supermini 2. I know that if i get good starts that i have the speed to run up front at the regioinal. I would also like to win the supermini championship and the 125 youth b championship next year at New England Sports Committee. I would also like to get into the National Honor Society at my high school next year.
