.................
I was born in Zimbabwe and lived there until I was 13. I lived on a farm and I got my first bike when I was 6 years old. I went to boarding school where I was away from home for 3 weeks at a time, so I couldn't race on the weekends. When I went to high school my parents made a deal with the school to let me race on Sundays. This was my first season or racing when I was 12 years old and continued the next season also. We lost our farm in the Zimbabwe farm crisis in 2003 and we were forced to leave the country. From there I moved to South Africa for 2 years until I was 15. There were no tracks that were close enough and it was very hard for my parents to invest in me racing again, so I just did enduro sort of riding around the mountain and on nearby farms. In July 2004 we got accepted into Australia and then moved to Perth in January 2005. For the first two years in Australia I worked in many places saving up for a car and a good bike to race on. I knew that if I wanted to race I would have to do it on my own. So after about two years I bought myself a 2006 Honda CRF250R and a truck. I did a few of the races at my local track in my last year at high school to just get back into racing again and after that it just took off. I kept on working as much as I could to keep paying off my bike and motocross expenses. The 2008 season was my first full season that I had done in the C lites class at the AJS motorcycle club, in Wanneroo, Perth, Australia.
