Personal History

Motocross racing has always been a passion of mine to include hare scrambles, dirt tracks, and enduros.  I began my riding career at age 8, although not as a competitive rider.  At age 20, I put my dirt bikes aside and moved into the street bike arena.  During that time, I rode several different bikes to include a Kawasaki Ninja and a Suzuki TL1000.  Now, I have decided to return to dirt bikes and will begin competing in the Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series in the spring of 2011.

Professionally, I am employed as a Vice President of a major commercial financial institution and have held this position for the past 18 years.  I have an associates and bachelor's degree in business/criminal justice and a master's degree in human services / executive leadership.

I  plan to pursue my PhD in counseling in the spring of 2014.

Riding Goals

My goal for the 2013 racing season is to become familiar with the inner workings of the VCHSS series.  Get acclimated to the requirements of racing in terms of endurance, strength, and stamina.  From a competition stand point, my goal is to finish in the top 10 of my class (currently 31 riders).
