Personal History
Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented motocross enthusiast looking to ride, race and have fun throughout the southwest on a regular basis. I Played baseball and football from 5 years old to 7th grade, then raced motocross from 7th grade thru 2 years of community college.
After I realized I would not make a living from motocross I continued with school, raced stand up jet skis for 5 years then got married. While married I raced cross country mountain bikes for the next 15 years along with supporting my daughter in her BMX racing for about 10 years until she went Pro and could support herself.
After that, I had the time and money to be able to go back into riding motocross as that has always been my number one passion. I did not ride motocross from 1984 to 2018. I have been riding as much as possible since 2018 and have become good friends with many people in the moto community in Arizona and with Scrubdaddy and the Swapmoto crews in SoCal all the way up to the Fresno/Sac areas.
Riding Goals
I have been blessed to get this second go around in motocross and I love influencing older riders and give them the inspiration that they can still do it even if they are old. I also love the kids in the sport and enjoy teaching them anything I can to be better and safer out on the track. I have had both hips replaced in 2017 and 18, older injuries from my old moto days like a knee with ACL reconstruction and left arm that had some severe nerve damage. I have learned to overcome those setbacks and can still ride and race competitively at a novice / intermediate level.
I would be stoked to humbly represent your great products and brand with pride and promote the brand in a fun and exciting way as I travel the southwest riding and racing. The biggest reward I get is when the middle aged guys come up and say “man I wondered how long I could keep doing this and you give me the hope and encouragement that I can do it for a long time” but inspiring a rider of any age is awesome, and if we go about it as smart as possible maybe we can all ride well into our retirement years!
