Rider Updates

well the first race has come and gone.  Im totally sore everywhere and it feels great. The seacoast winter scramble was moved from Maine to Freetown Mass and man was it tough. The mud was deep and the rocks were growing bigger as the race went on.  I got stuck in some bottomless mud on the first lap (11 mile laps) and with the help of another stuck racer we were able to get our bikes out and continue on(exhausted!)  Coming through at 15th at the end of that lap was a bit discouraging but I was able to maintain decent momentum and work my way up to 8th.  I had 7th in my sights but had nothing left in me reel him in at the end. I was shooting for a top 5 but considering how boney it was, I'll take the 8th and be thankfull theres not alot of bike damage.  Can't wait till the next one!!
