Personal History
In the summer of 2009, I set out on a journey across the nation in pursuit of the dream of every privateer rider; to battle wheel to wheel with the factory teams. Along with my girlfriend, her RV, a borrowed motorcycle from a friend, and minimal financial support from friends, family, and Revolution2M, I arrived at Glen Helen for the first race of the season. I battled through injuries that were a result of a crash and earned a respectable top 25 in both motos. As the season progressed, there were many ups and downs along the way, and I made a point to learn from each of these experiences. During one particular race weekend, I blew up the motor on my bike during practice which left me with only one option: roll my girlfriend’s bike off the hauler, put my number plates on it, and enter it in the race. I made the best of the situation and was able to take top 20 on a virtually stock bike competing amongst the best in the world. Throughout my journey, I learned the most valuable lessons of all: nothing worth having will come without hard work, and one cannot truly appreciate success without ever dealing with adversity. With a stronger support team and significantly more competitive equipment, the goal for 2010 is clear: to be consistently battling for top 5 positions in the motocross lites division.
