Personal History
My name is Scott Zimmerman. I grew up riding the desert out in California. i moved to Florida in highschool and it was a completely different type of riding that I didnt fin too difficult to adapt to. Ive been practicing motocross for 4 years and ive done some races. I finally think its time for me to get more serious about racing so i can continue to progress in this sport.
I am currently a student at the University of Central Florida. If im not riding im either working out or studying. Grades are a huge factor in my life because if I continue to do well in my Mechanical Engineering work my parents will pay my race and practice fees. It would be really nice to get some sort of company support so I can contue to pursue my goals of becoming the best dirtbiker I possibly can be. By going to a college of over 50,000 students in Orlando Florida I not only have the opportunity to ride a whole lot at the local track but to also promote companies to thousands of riders and students alike.
I am as dedicated as they come!
Riding Goals
My main goals for this new year is to not only progress as a rider but to get very serious about racing and do well in the Bartow 2009 point series. I'm off to a good start and I want to keep this momentum going to come out on top!
Competitive Highlights
My competitive highlights have to be when I battled my friend for 2nd for a whole race and the only reason that I came out ahead is cause I hit a big triple to pull ahead on the last lap.
Another highlight would have to be when I got stuck at the starting gate and I got my bike going again and came back from way behind to get 3rd place. I had never ridden faster in my whole life.
