Personal History
I am a 38 year old novice rider in a vet organization called over the hill gang bay chapter. I enjoy riding and racing as much as possible along with my nine year old son. I own a small business as a general contractor and really like to build quality remodels for my clients. I also enjoy the mechanical aspect of motorcycles and feel I am a good source of information for fellow riders. My skill level is improving but since I have got into racing later in life I seem to have more knowledge than skill. I believe I have helped other make informed decesions on all from bikes to quality gear and accesories. It is a passion of mine I guess I would say.
Riding Goals
At the start of this season, I decided I wanted to push myself physically and mentally to achieve our groups Iron man award as well as move into the next class. I So far, have not missed a race other than glen Helen last fall. I pride myself in being a smart, solid rider and strive to make inprovements when ever I can. I have enrolled in several mx clinics to try and not only become faster but safer in hopes to share what I learn by example. I also want to help change the image of motocrossers at the local level by setting examples and making people see we are athletes not just crazy weekend warriors.
Racing goals are to stay healthy and not miss a race for our season and advance to the point where I can race some outside of club races such as mamoth qualifiers next year. I am setting my sites on the ironman award as well which requires you to finish every moto of the entire season. This will require great sacrafices in my time, money, and health, but I am willing to do it.
