Personal History
Hey, my name is Sam Annis and I am from Maynard, IA. I race 250 A on my 2015 YZ250F. Over my racing career I have accomplished a lot, at the age of 4, I began riding a Honda XR50 and started racing shortly after. By age 8 I had gotten 2 KTM 65's and began a successful 2 years of Racing Locally in the state of Iowa. I battled for district 22 points both years but ended up finishing 3rd both years. By age 11 I had moved to a RM85. My 85 years involved a lot of injuries involving 2 broken collarbones and, fractured wrist. At the Age of 15, I moved straight to the 250 B class shortly after starting on big bikes. Last year I tried to make it to Loretta Lynns and made it past the area to go to the regional at Millville, but could not race due to illness. In 2014 I focused on becoming a better rider on and off the track by attending the gym ever day working on my core and endurance and also riding several times a week. Although i did very little racing, I had to take off the 2015 race season due to school and work but I am prepared to be a threat in the 2016 race season.
Riding Goals
To make it to Lorreta Lynns in the 2016 race season, to compete at Mini O's, and to race some of the other major tracks (Freestone, Hangtown, Red Bud, and other large tracks)
Competitive Highlights
-KTM 65- battled for Points in my district but finished 3rd in both years. -CR250F- Winning the Series Points in Schoolboy at Pierce Motosports LLC, Making it to the Regional Qualifier.
