Personal History
My name is Sal Cricchio Jr. I am 26 years and am currently racing 250 and 450 intermediate. I also race B250 class in the AMA D36 hare scramble series. I work as a heavy equipment operator in San Jose, Ca. In my free time I enjoy riding bmx and mountain bikes and hanging out with my friends.
What inspires you to compete?
I like the competitive nature of motocross. It makes me push myself both physically and mentally making me a better overall person. I also like doing something with my family and friends that we can all do together. Through the racing environment I have been able to meet many people who I will have lasting relationships with.
I am a hard working individual. I believe that anything I put my time and energy into I succeed at. I will not go to a race unless I know I am 100% ready. I enjoy riding all different types of riding, from motocross to trail riding, making me a better, well rounded rider.
Riding Goals
My goals for the 2015 season are to train harder and move up to the A250 class in hare scrambles. I want to stay consistant and finish in the top 5 every race.
Competitive Highlights
My past racing acheivements include countless top 10's at many local motocross and hare scramble races. I have also qualified to race Ponca City two years in a row. My biggest achievement has to be winning the overall at the 2010 AMA D36 Primetime HS.
