Personal History
My first time on a bike was when I was six years old, My step dad Craig put me on the front of his 1989 cr 250. Him knowing I was a wild kid he tried to scare me going 6th gear pinned down the road, he heard me screaming so he stopped and all I could say is go faster go faster , since then my life has been nothing but motocross. I have done a wide variety of motocross related avenues. When I turned 17 I went pro and by 18 I had my pro license. from 2004-2006 I raced supercross and arenacross along with local events. After 2006 I ran outta money but still wanted to be envolved in moto, so over the years my syep dad Craig taught me how to work on bike and by the time I was 13 I could split cases on my own! So that lead me down the path of being a mechanic for a local shop then onto the amateur scene which my first rider was Nate Whitlow. While working for Nate we as a team were able to get 3rd in both 450A and 450 pro sport at Loretta Lynns in 2008. After working for Nate I moved over to Justin Hill Which in 2009 , The Hills and I made a great team and Justin had the start of his break through which that year 2009 in 85 12-13 stk and mod Justin was 3rd overall in both classes. Then I worked for the Hills for about a year after that where Justin found great speed on big bikes and recieved his Team Green ride. Before he recieved his ride I had made the decision that I was going to move home (arizona) and get a normal 8-5 job so I could ride again and persue my passion for building high performance motors. For 2011 The Hills called me up and asked if I would come help them for Lorettas and im glad I did not only did Justin win a championship 250B stk , I bought his championship bike! so, thats my story as of now and im really looking forward to getting behind the gate to race open pro , 25 plus and 250 pro classes locally and 3 nationals , The Amateur Open, Mammoth and Mesquite.
Riding Goals
For 2017 I have been doing some local races between Ama Copperstate Series and Amx State Championships. My results have been pretty decent racinf against kids 7-10 years younger than me in the open pro class. I have only been off the podium 1 out of 4 races! Now that it is summer time racing has really slowed down, I am riding once a week to keep fresh on the bike and also using the time to practice some weakness I have had when racing. I am getting ready for the Vet Nationals in November at Glen Helen. Once the weather cools down and racing picks up again I will do some local races to get some gate drops. I also plan on doing the Amateur open in December !
