Personal History

My name is Ryan Wiley, I am 20 years old and I'm dedicated 100% to riding motocross. I try to ride as much as can to get as much time on the bike as I can. I have about 12 years of racing experience. I started racing when I was 4 and now I'm 20 and still riding. I work at a warehouse so right now my only time is riding on the weekends and sometimes during the week. I set high goals for my self in honor of achieving them. I work hard everytime I'm at the track and progression is key in my eyes. I look forward to seeing what the future holds in my riding career and I won't give up until my goals are reached!

Riding Goals

I, personally as a rider, set high goals for myself. Goals that mah not be achievable right away but ones that can be reached overtime with a little heart and dedication. I want to race pro motocross and that has always been my dream. I ride every weekend and sometimes during the week to gain experience. I put more laps in everytime I go the track to help out with my cardio as well as arm/ hand pump. I work on everything I had trouble with the week before, and I keep working at it until I can say that I have achieved it. I want to race big national tracks in the future but it all will come in time.

Competitive Highlights

I'm a very competitive rider, I always have been. My family is competitive and they raised me to be that way. I personally hate losing but it's something I have to get used to because there will always be more advanced riders on the track than I am. This will only make me ride harder. I try to get behind the faster guys at the track and make an attempt to keep up with them, and also I ride my hardest everytime I'm out on the track. I work on all my lines and go over all of my techniques in my head and think about what will improve my lap times. I try to race 2 classes every race to improve my cardio as well as skill on the bike. I go on jogs every morning before work to keep me in shape as well. I look forward to my upcoming races because every race is different. There is always different riders out there and more experienced riders pop up everywhere. That is where I really look up to them because the faster riders in front of me help guide me and make me faster, whether it's trailing behind them to following the lines they take and trying to keep the same momentum they carry with them.
