Personal History
Hi,
I'm Ryan Webley and i'm 10 years old.
I live with my mom, Candice and my Dad, Dave, In Auckland, New Zealand. I have been riding since i was 4 and started racing then also.
I love to ride anything from my BMX to my mountain bike and like to trail ride as well as racing. I also play golf sometimes and like to play xbox when it's too dark or wet to ride.
Riding Goals
My long term goal is to race in the AMA supercross. I am training hard with my coach Greg Moss and working towards this goal. I would like to win all the main national titles this year and then go to the australian junior champs.
We are also building relationships with contacts and sponsors in the USA so that we can come over and pursue my goal of becoming a professional racer.
Competitive Highlights
Highlights for me have been winning the New Zealand nationals in 2012 and winning the Auckland champs last year. And also winning this years NZ Junior Nationals.
I also get a kick out of beating much much older kids on bigger bikes. At the recent valley champs i was 0.1 off the fastest time in my 8-10 years class and that time would have put me 5th in the 12-16 year old class!
I have also won the NZ Grandprix before and placed on the podium many times.
It is a real highlight racing at our local club also because i can beat everybody there and its a really great club to belong to.
