Personal History
I love to ride anything on 2 wheels. I raced at the pro level in motocross from 1998 to 2008. Since then I have raced, triathlon, mountain bikes, BMX, and even ran a marathon. In 2004 I started a Christian motocross ministry called MotoXriders.net, our moto is "keeping the cross in motocross". We have been doing chapel services at the local Arizona motocross races ever since.
At the start of 2021, I started another big adventure in the sport of motocross. I started training racers. I decided to put my knowledge of riding technique and fitness to good use. I have been working with 3 riders this year and it has been amazing. I am also doing some group lessons when it is requested. If interested check out my training instagram @motomort_training.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are to keep riding enough that I can still be up to date with the latest riding techniques and hold my credibility as a coach. I know some trainers have quit riding years ago, but that is not my style. I like to continue to learn and grow myself. Plus.... motocross is still the most fun thing I have ever done. I also plan on racing a few events throughout the year at Arizona Cycle Park and Motoland MX.
