Personal History
I've been riding motorcycles since I was 6 years old. I had a minibike with a Briggs and Stratton. I quickly progressed to a YZ80 and on from there. I had my own track on my dad's property growing up. I would ride until dark everyday after school. I did some Trans-Cal Series races, Sacramento Raceway, REP Racing and a couple Arenacross races. I did pretty well in my class. I'm known for having good form and riding smooth, while still going fast.
Riding Goals
At my age, my goals are getting in better shape and riding consistently/often. Racing the OTHG races and some other local races. I have a garage full of retro 90s bikes and other projects, which I plan to showcase and race in some evo races, if the opportunity presents itself.
Competitive Highlights
In the 90s, I won a lot of 80cc races in Marysville, California and Sacramento Raceway. I moved from Beginner to Intermediate in the first two years of racing where I won some Trans-Cal Series races. In the races I didn't win, I was mostly in the top 5 in my finishes.
Later, in the mid/late 2000s (2007-2010), I won some REP Racing series titles at E-Street and Riverfront in Marysville.
I was out of racing for a while and now back into it. My son is now 9, so he is finally able to attend the races- hence my break in competition for a while.
During my evaluation races for the OTHG in 2018, I got second (2-2) in my first Expert race. Then, at Hangtown, I won the first moto by a long-shot and they bumped me to the Master class. I got 2nd in my first race as master.
