Personal History

Well my name is Ryan Laskey I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 5 and started racing at the age of 8 and raced till I was 13. Then decided to give freestyle ago because it was more my thing it just seems more fun and interesting changeling your body and putting yourself at risk. I competed in my first competition when I was 15 at Hamilton X Air but I crashed in my run because I was the only 1 riding a 125 and struggled with the run up since then iv ridden X Air three times never done as well as I should of. I hadn’t really taken freestyle to seriously till I rode my first Crusty Demons show in Auckland at Western Springs in 2004 since then I’ve done two more Crusty tours and lately been doing a lot of demos round New Zealand at such events like the Hamilton 400, Super 14 Rugby games and the World Rally championships in Hampton downs, and won the last compition that I entered at the Boys Day Out at Mystery Creek which was because I had been doing a lot of practicing and have been doing back flips now.

Riding Goals

I’m spending a bit of time at Nick Franklins foam pit learning new flip tricks to take my riding to the next level because flips are just not enough I want to entre more competitions and hopefully win more and more of them and I’m confident that’s possible.
