Personal History

Hi, my name is Ryan Hildreth.  I am 16 years old and I just moved from Murrieta, CA to Portola Hills, CA.  I have two supportive parents who guide me in whatever I need help in and I have a little brother who also rides motocross. I am a motivated individual who doesn't give up until i reach my goals. I have been riding for 6 years and I have been racing for 3 years. Motocross is the sport I love and I'm devoted to riding and racing as long as I maintain good grades in school.

I started racing when i was thirteen on a 2005 Cr 85.  My first race, at Cahuilla Creek Mx Park (Vet X Winter Series), I finished 7th and then from their on I always finished top five and podiumed in begginner so I moved up to novice.  Then in 2007 I moved up to a 125 because I got to tall for my 85, but I took some time off of racing allowing myself to get better on a bigger bike. Then this year my parents bought me a CRF 250 and I have been racing ever since. Lately I have been getting a lot faster and finishing top 5.  Now I am more competitive and I have been riding twice a week and racing as much as possible.

Riding Goals

Some of my goals for the upcoming year is to practice at least twice a week at some of my favorite tracks such as Perris Raceway and Cahuilla Creek MX.  I also am looking forward to moving up to the 125/250 Novice class. Im going to train and ride as hard as I can to reach this goal and compete and finish top 5 in the novice class.  I plan on doing the Vet X Fall Extreme Prize Give Away series as well to help me improve and gain experience in racing.  This December I plan on doing the 13th annual Yamaha California State Pro AM MX Championships also.  My Biggest Goal for the upcoming racing season is to place top 5 in the main event of the Mammoth Motocross National which will be held in June of 2009.

Competitive Highlights

Well living in Murrieta, CA, home of some of the fastest riders in the country such as Andrew Mcfarlane for example, helped motivate me to work hard and train to become a better rider.  I have met and rode with many fast and upcoming riders which is helping me to not only to become a faster rider but a safer and smarter rider while on the track. Recently I obtained a 3rd Place finish in an SRA GP, which is one of the most grueling 45 minute grand prixs in California. I am doing the whole SRA GP series this year because it is good training for regular 25 minute motos which are a lot easier than an SRA GP.
