Personal History
I have raced motocross and only motocross for as long as I can remember. I made it to the pro level and earned my pro license when I was 19 and then had a short strand of injuries. I was forced to take some time off and so I decided to go to school and get a college degree. I therefore took 2010 as a part time racing year and have not raced in 2011. I will be starting to race motocross again in the coming fall and continue in 2012. I really enjoy exercising and working hard. Accomplishing goals is an amazing feeling and I try to get this feeling as often as possible. Other than motocross I enjoy mountain biking, road biking, hiking and running.
Riding Goals
In 2012 I would like to race some of the AMA pro nationals. I will be racing more locally to get in good shape and build my speed up and then I will try qualifying for a few west coast races like Hangtown, Washougal and Pala. My goal by the end of 2012 is to have qualified for all three of the nationals I attempt and to get top 20 in at least one of them in order to earn some ama points. I am also planning on racing some arenacross races as well. Most likely the race in Sacramento at the Arco Arena and the race in Reno, NV.
Competitive Highlights
My competitive highlights are getting my pro license after racing three pro/am races in 2008. This was a goal of mine from when I was a little kid and accomplishing this goal was an amazing feeling. Other highlights are at World Mini Grand Prix in 2007 when I finished in the top 6 in five of my qualifying races in the 250 intermediate stock and mod classes. I was doing very well until I unfortunately crashed and had to retire from the race after I spent the night in the hospital with a bruised kidney.
