Personal History
My name is Ryan Dean and I'm from Colorado. I've been racing motocross for 10 years and haven't stopped since I started at 13. I raced throughout college and got my degree in mechanical engineering in May 2010. When I went to work in Indiana, I was sure my pro racing career was over, but it turns out from my first job I was inspired to pursure a career as a doctor. So I left my job, moved back to CO and bought a new 2011 450 to give racing one last shot at the top level.
The 2011 season was still part time as I was preparing my application for medical school. I also stuggled with MX injuries of a spained foot followed by a dislocated shoulder. Now that everything is taken care of I am ready to give it 100% for 2012. Motocross has shaped my life and who I am. After this coming season, I will never be this fast again. The time is now, 2012 season will be one to remember.
Riding Goals
I am looking to race 2-3 times per month and stay healthy. Top 10's early season and top 5's late season are my goals.
Competitive Highlights
I earned my pro license in CO at age 19 as a sophomore in college. I've had numerous top 10 finishes in my A level career, the most recent coming at the Vurb Classic at Thunder Valley, where I finished 8th in 450 Pro.
