Personal History
Hey folks, my name is Ryan Curtis. I love riding motocross, supercross and speending time out at Silver Lake Sand Dunes. I have been racing ever since the time I turned nine years old, which was also the first year I ever had a bike. Once I was at it, there was no stopping. I raced religiously for the next 6 years when I had two injuries to the same leg in 6 months. My racing imediately came to a hault at that time, not by my choice. As a couple years passed bye I had stopped riding at all, with my first job and attending HS and then College it didnt cross my mind much. After a buddy of mine bought a bike to ride around his house my time on a bike went from nothing in a few years to 2-3 hours a night and another hour of building jumps and what not. I finally got my self a deal on a bike where I was able to trade my daily driver Dodge Ram for my YZF 250. My riding career, as I like to call it is now back in action and Im looking for whatever is next. This year I plan to skip around a little to races to get the feel of the different terrains again around Michigan. I will also be competing in the Loretta Lynns Area Qualifiers at Red Bud and Dutch MP which I really look forward to. I can't wait to get underway with what seems like a rookie season after not touching any of these tracks in the last 7-8 years. Hope to see you all out there, and to all a GoodLuck!
Riding Goals
I am not a big one on goals but its always been a dream of my win a championship! However, before my injuries my goal was to qualify for Lorettas and returns for 2010.
Competitive Highlights
I was very competitive back in the day on my 65 and 80 but I would say my biggest highlight was qualifying for the LL Regionals in White Plains, KY where I had 4 wipe outs and a rough day with a 22nd overall finish.
