Personal History
My name is Ryan Cambetes and I'm from Leesburg VA. I have been riding for 14 years but only started racing this year (2014). I've always had a great interest in motocross. I recently have taken a step back from some activities and reduced my commitment in others so that I can take part in and focus 100% on racing and training. I do all of my own mechanical work and keep my bike running in the best condition possible while trying not to break the bank. I recently purchased a 2013 RMZ250 and plan to take just as good of care of that one as I did my CRF250r. I take great pride in not only racing to the best of my ability but also my work effort and how much I have to give to this sport. I also plan to represent and promote my sponsors in the most professional and outstanding way as possible.
Riding Goals
With the time I've allocated after giving up my previous commitments motocross, and my dedication to the sport that I've shown so far, I plan to work hard and earn a position in the top 5 of both 250C and Open C in the coming season. I plan to train at my private track and improve my conditioning. I also am looking to challenge myself by training with better riders and entering in more difficult races. But lastly and most importantly, I am looking to represent my sponsors and their products in the most professional way possible.
Competitive Highlights
I take great pride in my ability to jump right towards the front of the pack with 250C and Open C, considering my competitors have been racing for much longer than I have and with the effort and time I plan to dedicate to the sport I feel as though my results will greatly increase.
