I just want to give a shout out to my sponsor, Answer Racing! Your gear is just AWESOME! I went to the track today with a bunch of guys that had gear from everything BUT ANSR. We all rode at the same time and in the same conditions. After the third moto, they all looked at me and said"why are you the only one here with clean gear???" The dirt and roost just did not stick to the ANSR gear. The other guys were covered in dirt and dust! Thanks ANSR!

Great ride day! After much wrench turning and many replaced parts, the bike is finally running great. Hurricane Irma didn't help matters, but all is good now and I'm back on the track and ripping things up!!

We have been under a hurricane warning for 2 days now. The governor basically closed the entire state of Florida, activated the National Guard, and now we get to ride out Hurricane Irma. It's supposed to be a major flood event here on the east coast with 90 MPH winds!

Nature watered Orlando MX the night before and conditions were perfect. !! :-D My cornering is improving with corner speeds increasing and I'm improving in the braking and acceleration bumps too. I got a little coaching and it paid off! @DecalWorks , your decals take a beating but after a good wash, it's like it never happened. @ANSR Your gear is bulletproof !

I haven't posted in a while but I've been practicing at Orlando MX Park every Thursday and Sunday. I cannot think my sponsors enough for supporting me as I work towards racing the FL / GA Championship series in the fall!

Rode with the advanced riders and discovered that it was a bit beyond my ability. Went back down to intermediate and all started out well until the front brake started to drag real heavy. Got some brake system work to do now :-/

2nd day at Orlando MX. Wife urged me to slow down a bit. Spoke to track official for some advice and he suggested the same, but I might want to ride up a class in intermediate. completed 1 and 1/2 motos. Found more control in the corners and the jumps got bigger!

Thanks to Lucas Oil, the 1998 YZ 250 shifts and runs great. Other lubricants and fuel treatments didn't quite get the job done. Thanks Lucas Oil !!

Took some friends out to the Black Hole (mud bog) for an extended ride to show them around and have some fun. Didn't get any pictures tho. Lost the GoPro, found the GoPro back on the trail later. . . {:-< Need a better camera mount. BUT good times were had by all {:->

I took delivery of some gear from ProTaper. I ordered one square bar pad, but they sent and billed my for 2. They actually called my on the day that I received them to correct the problem, but I decided to keep the second bar pad anyway because I have a second YZ250 on the way and I'll need the pad anyway. Thank you TroTaper for the excellent rider support! {:-D

Took delivery of my first order from Lucas Oil. When I opened the box I noticed that I was missing 3 quarts of Semi-Synthetic 2 Cycle Oil. I contacted them and not only did they send the 3 quarts to me but they threw in an extra quart and a tee shirt! Thank you Lucsl for your excellent rider support! {:-D
After switching to Lucas Synthetic 80W/85W Transmission oil, I noticed an improvement in shifting and clutch operation where previous oils always seemed to leave the clutch dragging a bit. I would highly recommend this product to all riders.

Went riding today mostly to work on jumps and wheelies. When I got back to the shop, I noticed a small crack developing in the front rim. BLARG! Time for a new rim.

Just purchased some new plastics from DeCal Works to spiff up the ole 98 YZ 250! There is still more work to be done before I order the full decal set.
