Personal History

I started riding and racing in Massachusetts when I was 13 years old and enjoyed the sport until I was 20 and then I went into the Air Force. After a short military career, I got an education, went to work as a NASA contractor, got into riding sport bikes, and raised a family. Now the kids are grown and on their own.

Recently my 24 year old Step Son got a YZ 250, my wife told me that she felt that riding on the street was too dangerous, and my Step Son said feel free to ride the YZ. I now ride as much as I can, rain or shine and I think I am having more fun with motocross now at 48 than I did at 20 !! My wife is still nervous about me and motorcycles, particularly when I come off a jump, but at least it's not 85 MPH down a crowded interstate anymore.

Now I need to get another YZ 250 for my Step Son to ride {:-)

Riding Goals

Ride as much as possible! Always try to improve and practice,  practice,  practice. After a 28 year break from motocross, I plan on entering my first Florida motocross event sometime in early 2017.
