Personal History
My name is Royce Phillip Griffin, I got my first bike for my 2nd birthday, it was a PW 50. I started racing at the age of 4 years old. I was Born on January 21st 1991 in South Africa, Port Elizabeth.
6ft tall and 74kgs.
Riding Goals
My goals for this year are to qualify for every AMA pro national I enter this season. Hopefully get some sponsors to help me through the year and even the following year if I show good results. I came all the way from South Africa to do this and I intend to give it my all!

RIDING PORTFOLIO
Royce was given his first bike, a PW50 on his 2nd birthday. He started racing competitively at the age of 4.
1996: In his first racing year Royce finished an excellent 3rd place in the Club Championships. This was a great achievement for his first year and he was racing against riders 2 years his senior.
1997: This was his first year entering the Regional and National Championship series. He finished 1st in the Club Championship, 2nd in the Regional Championship and an excellent 2nd in the National Championship (5year old class).
1998: It was now time to move from his PW50 to a KX60 bike. Royce took to 6 gears like a fish to water, in his first National Championship race he came 2nd. He went on to obtain a 6th position overall for the year in the KX 60 Junior Class.
1999: Another great year of racing all over SA. Royce managed a 4th due to injury during the year. He missed 3rd place by one point.
2000: This was the year for Royce, he won the SA National Championsip in the KX60 Junior class. Winning 17 out of 18 races during the year!
2001: It was time to move up from the KX60 to the Lever 80 bike. Royce had a good year coming to grips with the new bike. He rode in all Club, Regional and National Championships.
2002: Royce enjoyed riding in a very competitive (Lever 80) and was consistently in the top 5 finishers at all the National events. He suffered a broken wrist so had to miss a few events. He obtained a 2nd in the Regional Championships and a 4th in the Club Championship.
2003 - 2006: Royce continued to compete at Club, Regional and National Championships and was consistently in the top 5.
2007 - 2008: He spent 3 weeks in Belgium riding various events.
He rode in the Belgium National Championship series in Keiheuvel and managed a 7th overall. (He started from row 2 in both heats as he missed qualifying). He set the 3rd fastest lap in the final heat.
He then returned to SA due to financial constraints. He spent the next 3 years successfully racing cars in various races.
In 2011 he started racing MX again. Racing and training in preparation for 2012 in America.
