Personal History

I am currently undergoing the whole college part of my life and i am hating it, stupid boring classes filled with dumbass people and more importantly, not much time to ride.  I am going to Western Illinois university and am living in town because of it.  I work for First Class Grass, where i mow cemeteries and a lot of random yards but when winter comes along i am going to need to find something new or just be a race bum.  During the week, I try to train at least 3-4 days and take my training very seriously because with college i have a lot of other stuff going on, so who knows when my next workout session will happen.  But when the weekend comes around I am all business.  I try to race every weekend, if not at least ride somewhere, and I have made a lot of friends by doing so.

Riding Goals

Some of my goals for the "12" season is the same as they were this year, make it to both Loretta’s and Ponca City in the B class.  Since i wasn't prepared in the early spring because of the cold cold weather, I missed out on my chance to qualify.  So next year i want to come out with a bang and really set my goals on making it.  I, also, want to do the whole Missouri State Series and finish in the top 3 overall in points.  Next year I want to try really hard to race both, Millville and Red Budd on amateur day during the pro nationals.  But most importantly, i want to stay healthy and injury free the whole season.

Competitive Highlights

I have only been racing for 7 years so far, and I haven’t had too much huge career highlights.  But my very first year of racing I won the Moberly/Kahoka Spring Championship.  Then in the 2006 season, I made it to Millville, MN for the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Regional, but came short of making it to Loretta’s in the 125 C class.  Since then i made the jump up to B class and had some success there.  A lot of local wins and top 3s but the competition is fast at the national level.  In 2009 i ended up getting 19th overall at Branson USA, but with a blown shoulder, so i hope to improve on my top finish there.  This year i won the MAN (Midwest Amateur Nationals) series at Taylorville, IL and am now setting my hopes on a great finish at Branson.
