Personal History

I have been racing RC (1/8th Nitro and Electric Buggy) cars for over 6 years now and this is what I enjoy.  From the ability to travel across the country and see places that I never thought I would see to the numerous life long friends I have made over the years.  Like motocross riders, we spend a ton of time tuning, practicing and spending weekends away from home all of the competitive fun.  Its just on a smaller scale when compared to motocross but the premise is the same.

Riding Goals

Since I don't "Ride" i will call this my "Racing" goals section. My goal is to become one of the top guys in the region in 2023. I live in Texas and the fast guys in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana are super fast! i have been putting in the work this year when it comes to setups on my cars on multiple different track surfaces and different weather conditions. I feel like I'm getting to a point where i can keep up with these guys and some are starting to notice so that helps propel me to put in even more work when time permits.

Competitive Highlights

Psycho Nitro Blast (900 entries) - White Pine, TN / Huge national level event and was able to place within the top 25 of my class there. It really was one of the best racing weekends I had back in 2019 and gave me more confidence.

Silverstate Indoor World Championships 2021 (1000 entries) - Las Vegas, NV / My first Silverstate race and the experience was beyond belief! Very technical track on a surface that is like no other and gets completely blown out very quickly. I really had to think and make my setup changes count as we only had 2 practice sessions before qualifying.  This rested my tuning abilities and I came out of everything really good! Finishing within the top 20 of electric buggy and top 50 of nitro buggy!

2021 was a rough year for me and i didn't race much after Vegas. I spent 76 days in the hospital with COVID. So my race year was pretty much done.

No national level races in 2022 so far due to COVID recovery (Long COVID symptoms) and a ton of work traveling. I still attend local races plans for DNC in Perris, CA in 2023 and Silverstate in Las Vegas, NV.

2022 Icebreaker - Garland TX / Top 10 in Nitro Buggy

2022 RC Pro Series - Garland TX / 3rd in Nitro Buggy

Numerous top 5 finishes during local club race events in Texas as well. Often travel to Ardmore, OK, Houston, TX and Austin, TX.
