Personal History
Started racing at 5 years old on a KTM 50 and moved up the ranks to 65, 85, 105. Each class and year finishing in top 3 in local competition and most of the time in the top 5 in nationals. We won a few overall's in the years, but usually ran a class higher than we had to just to make us faster. At 12 years old I had a bad accident and was out for most of the season, after that we ran a few races but due to some bad times kind of got out of racing all together.
At 18 I decided to get back on the bikes and started racing again. So on a KTM 250f we hit the tracks for the first time in 6 years, and it felt good. The first year it just seemed like I got faster every race. It was kind of like speed learning, I knew what I needed to do in a tight muddy corner but had to do one before it came back to me. By the end of the year I was finishing up front and winning the novice class so for the next year we jumped up to open B.
We have ran open B for a couple years and have worked our way back into a respectable position finishing 4th for the year one point out of 3rd makes us pretty happy for the year. Now for the 2017 year we are going to jump up to open A and see if we cant shake them boys up a little..
