Personal History
My name is Rob Springer and I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 3 years old. I grew up racing District 37 AMA desert races and raced actively until I was 17 years old. I joined the Marine Corps and served 2 tours in Iraq in 2003 and 2004. Once I got out I began racing again. I raced in 2004 and had some really good results. In 2005 I was hired by LA County Sheriffs department and again found myself in a place in life where racing had to be put on the back burner. In 2013 I finally returned to racing and I had some awesome results in the events I participated in. I have an awesome physical training program and take riding and racing seriously. I plan to hit it hard this year and keep winning!
Riding Goals
Race as many races in 2014 as I can, and push hard every time, and represent Viewfinders MC with some good finishes!
Competitive Highlights
This past weekend I raced the 2nd Round of the AMA National Hare and Hound Series. I was 1st in class and beat the next guy by 24 minutes. I was bumped to amateur and based on lap times, I feel I could have overalled the amateur line. Huge confidence booster and I can't wait for the next round.
