Personal History

This will be my second year of racing and I am currently racing arena cross in District 5. I am sponsored by Pro-Taper the leading source for hadlebars/parts/ and accesories in the racing world.Although I am considered new to racing by most I have only raced 3 D class races before moving myself into C class where I am not only keeping up with the rest of the racers I haven’t finished below 4th place in the feature races. I placed 5th once but that was only because I shattered my jaw in the first lap of the first heat. Upon shattering my jaw I still went on to finish my heat which was 3 more laps where my jaw was shattered and I had 3 cracked teeth and I still finished 5th out of 8 racers that night. After I finished the heat I went to the hospital to have emergency facial reconstructive surgery. And I believe that shows my determination and why I can be an asset to your company. I finished 9th overall out of 40 riders in C class this season and I only attended 5 races this season due to the lack of support to keep my quad running in racing shape. I feel I would be a positive role model for younger kids as well as people my own age. I don’t drink or do drugs I am just a clean cut guy that loves to race. I feel I have the drive to leave a positive impact and can bring good promotion to your company with the way I ride and how I present myself on and off the track. I feel with your products I can become an even better rider. It is a must to have your components because I feel you have superior products that will give me a winning edge over other racers. And with your support I feel I can put other racers in the same mindset as well as people who do not race even when not racing when I am just on the trails practicing and riding. Prior to racing I was very involved with sports in high school I played football, soccer, and baseball. So I have always been an athlete and was always taught how to be respectful and responsible because I was representing not only myself as a person but the school as well. I have a degree in auto mechanics from the world renown school known as Wyo-Tech (Wyoming Technical Institute). I also have graduated high school and I am only a few credits from getting an associates degree in business from Penn State Fayette. So I can work hard and play even harder. I have aspirations of racing one more year of C class and then bumping up to B class. I intend on racing as many races as possible in the 2009 season and I will be racing at Latrobe Speedway in Latrobe Pennsylvania. As well as Westmoreland Arena cross course in Greensburg Pennsylvania. But if you’d like me to expand my racing locations I am willing to work with you if you are willing to work with me. I hope to establish a strong relationship with your company in the future. I just hope you don’t overlook me in the assistance of bettering myself in the sport.

Riding Goals

I am going to attend more races this year. I'd also like to race some motocross races in the upcoming 2009 season. I'd like to go from 9th overall to at least the top 5 positions and higher if possible and have fun in the process of that all. I will have a healthy strong running machine for the next season which is all I needed to climb to the top this season.

Competitive Highlights

I have only raced 3 D class races before moving up to C class where I finished 9th overall. But one particular race I remember. It was the second to last race of the year. And I was in the first lap of the first heat. And I came off a double vertically. And I hit the back brakes to even my quad out. Well when my front wheels came down it made me slam forward where I slammed my jaw off my handlebars. I shattered my jaw in 2 places upon impact. Well that didn't slow me down. I restarted my quad and went three more laps where I finished 5th out of 8 even with a shattered jaw. Which makes me realize how dedicated I actually am to my sport and how much I love doing what I do. Then there was another race where another racer landed on top of me because he overshot the landing and landed on the front end of my quad. I finished that race in 4th place even after he had bent my clutch lever straight down and I had the hardest time shifting it especially considering it is arenacross. When I was in D class I had only had my quad the year I purchased it in 2007. Well I raced 3 D class races where I placed first all 3 times and decided I needed more of a challenge.
