Personal History
My name is Robert Wilson.I graduated from Vacaville high School class of 11 with a 3.0. Alot of my friends and family call me Monty though. Monty is my middle name and thats usaully what I like to be called unless it has to do with motocross. When I'm at the track I like people to call me Robert because I feel that I need to be called by my real name at the track not a nickname. I race motocross and I take motocross very seriously. I train atleast four days of the week and practice four days a week aswell. Then try to race atleast once a week but sometimes i dont always get to because I might be practicing for a big national or there is'nt any race around me that are racing. I travel alot for my racing. I always go down to Southern California to practice and sometimes even race.
Riding Goals
Some of my goals for the 2012 season is to race alot of nationals. I plan on racing World Minis, Ponca City, and Dodge Amateur National for sure, but I would also like to try and quailify for Loretta Lynns. I wanna try and race the Vurb Classics, Mammoth, and Freestone as well.
Competitive Highlights
In 2003 I took a 6th place at Lake Whittney Tecas in the 7-9 stock class and 12th in the the 7-9 mod class. I also went to world minis that year and got a 10th in the 9-11 stock class. I was also a factory rider for Prodigy Minisports in 2003 but Then shortly after that I had to stop riding for finacial issues. Then in 2010 I started racing again and went from novice to intermediate very fast. I raced the Estreet Mx summer series as a intermediate and got 1st in 250 intermediate and 2nd in 450 intermediate.
