Personal History
Hi my name is Robert Clyde im 33 years old and love riding dirt bikes! My dad grew up riding and kept that hobby going on to me. I started riding when i was about 5 years old on a pw50. from that point on i new i was hooked on 2 wheels. I grew out of that bike into a rm80 then on to a cr125 and cr250. when i was on the rm 80 we moved houses and met by best friend that i have now and he was into hill climbing. He asked if i wanted to go to one of his local races and give it a shot and i rode his bike extended and beat him by 3 feet! From that point i new hillclimbing was my new gig. At that point my dad had got me the 125 and 250 and started hillclimbing. we ended up picking up a 96 kx500 on nitros, a new 16' crf450 and a fully custom GSXR1100. There is a couple local races in the town of Port Angles Wa. that i go to every year and a national event in Yakima Wa. that i attend. There are also races in california and montana idaho and utah. All these races are apart of the AMA Hillclimb series. There are 3 classes that i run in the NAHA series which are 450 Pro, 451-700 Pro and Open Pro. Sadly 4 years ago i tore my acl and did some other damage to my knee, lucky if was just in time for the pandemic to hit and all racing stopped and got a full recovery. Now i am back on 2 wheels and ready to ride!
