Personal History

My name is river dean manley. I'm 5 years old. I started riding my stryder when I was 2. My parents got me a stacyc 12e for my 3rd birthday. Once I practiced on my stacyc over the next year, my dad bought me a pw50. We have a track at home to practice on and after a year of practicing and riding at home I started racing. My first race was at Springville indiana ixcr last year. I got scared and didn't start after the bigger kids took off in front of me. My next race went a little better at stoney lonesome but I was still nervous and scared. Once again I did not finish. My third race last year was at stoney again but this time I finished ! 14th place but I finished! That was my last race of the year.

This year now that I'm 5 and I have a few races under my belt my confidence is better and so is my riding. We raced two hairscramble races so far this year with a 9th place finish and a 8th place finish both with 20 plus kids in class. River wanted to try motorcross so we attended the area qualifier at wildcat creek in rusville indiana. Looked good in practice. Race day moto 1 River had a bad crash with a 20th place finish. Moto 2 we placed 19th but still gave us a 20th place overall. Off the track River is a silly high energy soft spoken kid. Always sharing his toys and letting other kids take turns on his bike. If we're not racing we're with family camping or boating on the river in our jetboat

Competitive Highlights

As far as achievements we started at the end of last years race season not even getting off the line because he was scared of the other big bikes. Now he's coming off the line being the top 5 Into the first corner. We have had 3 or 4 top 10 finishes and got our butts kicked at the area qualifier for our first motorcross race. This kid crashed hard but got up and finished the race and the day strong
