Personal History
My name is Riley Kurosky. I began racing at the age of 10 in 1997. I quickly progressed and became one of the top Texas amateur racers. I started getting recognized at the amateur nationals and got picked up as a Team Green rider on 80s. I got numerous amateur national titles from 60 to the 125/250B level. I turned pro in 2004 and got offered a factory Shogun Yamaha team for Arenacross and East Coast Supercross. I struggled as a pro with injuries and the Shogun Yamaha team closed its doors in 2005. From there I got offered a few deals with smaller teams for AX and the following year with a small SX team but the bikes were junk and that caused another injury. In 2007 I worked harder then ever and got picked up with the BooKoo Honda team for the SX series. I was really excited and was riding better then ever getting ready at the test track and had the bike dialed in the 1st round. Then 2 weeks before the series the team manager told me they were done and the team closed the doors. I had nothing else, no backup plan or anything... so I hung it up in 2007 and went to work in construction for my dad. I'm 37 years old now and I've had the itch for a few years. Now it's time to make a comeback in the +25A, +30A classes and just have fun with it again!
Riding Goals
My main goal is to have fun on the bike again and not make it a job. I really want to do local pro races and do the 25+A and 30+A.
