Personal History

Hi,

My name is Ricky Drummond i have a few nick names a few of them being Ricky Bobby and Rickard are the most common ones.

Im 20 years old i work full time for a world wide oil service company called Schlumberger.

Im a fun loving person easy to get along with I love making new friends and meeting new people even though I am shy on occasion.

I have either been into motocross or cars my entire life thanks to my dad, i had my first motor cycle when i could barely walk, it was a JR 50 and i destoryed it bad enough that he couldnt make one out of two of them, after i grew out of that i step my way up to a DS 80 that i rode for a while, than when i turned 12 i got a kx 100 for my birth day. i rode it for a while and raced some in youth beginer which i show potential in but i fell away from racing.

Now to present day when i was 19 i wanted to get back into racing so i went down to the local dealer and bought a bike in febuary and rode as much as i could and i was off racing by march, when i entered my first race i was running 250c and college boy, in 250c there was a qualifier and i ended up not even qualifying for the second moto, and in college boy i didnt fair to much better. As the season progressed i slowly worked my way up the pack.

When the championship came up there was a qualifier once again and instead of not qualifying for the second moto i ended up getting second my qualifier and 8th over all in the class for the day.

my final standing for the season was 14th place in 250c i think this is a pretty good improvement for not qualifying my first race of the season.

for the past three months i have been at the track every sat and sun trying to build my skill level and endruance, my skill is slowly progressing, i have chased a few b riders i know around and i can hang with them for the most part. and as for endurance that has been coming around the past few weeks i went from getting tired after 2 to 3 strong laps to about 5 laps.

Im looking forward to the season to start and hopefully wining a few races this year.

Riding Goals

Im looking foreward to this up comming season, i plan on running 250c and open pro non pro

I think i should do fairly well in the c class and the open pro non pro class should give me a challege and give me a goal of how much I should improve.

I hope to win more than a few races this year

Competitive Highlights

I dont really have anything to great to talk about yet but this section should build pretty quickly once the season starts
