Personal History
Hello my name is Ricky langella and I started riding when I was 3 years old. I was a very talented rider. I did well in the 50 class then became a 60 ameture quikly turned to an a rider then during practice I crashed hard. I woke up peralized blind out of my left eye and mentally challenged. I was in a combs for 3 days. They said I would never walk again. So I did therapy every day and then randomly I got my sight back and started to walk again. They called me the miracle child. Took 2 years before I could ride again. When I first got on a bike again I had no clue how to ride it. So I ride every day and trained. I won the 60 b championship that year. Then went to 80s. I was an 80 expert rider. Won a lot and got 599th place grand champion in nema. The next year I raced expert and won the championship. I raced the 125 ameture class on a 100 and did well then got a 125 and 250. I finished too 3 every race in need. I turned expert at 17 and got 2nd my first race. Did well that year. I had some injuries the next year and decided to stop racing but I had an amazing 15 years of racing and can't wait to come back. I have done some local stuff the last couple years. This year I want to put a entire season together. So with your support it would really help.
Riding Goals
I have many goals for the next 3 years. I really want my pro card and want to put a few seasons together. I work and am very close friends with Keith Johnson and he took over southwic so I'll be doing all those races. I would also like to go to Loretta Lynn next year and the mini os. I am training hard and hope for no injuries so if all goes well I want to reach my goal. This year I plan on racing all the local races and hope to win a championship.
Competitive Highlights
My best highlight was the day I turned expert. My dad told me not to go for the hole shot and puts me all the way on the inside at central village. So I'm nervous but am amazing at starts. Hate drops and I took off like a rocket. Got the hole shot then Dowd stuffed me in the second turn. But I did get second place. I got 599th place grand champion on an 80 in nema. I won a supercross race at the Brockton fair. I will also post more highlights that happen this year.
