Personal History
My name is Richie short for Richard Keeney the 4th. I come from a motocross family where my Uncle Cory Keeney raced professional, my Grandpa, Uncles, and Dad all raced as well. I Have been Racing for 4 year now and am looking forward to the 2025 season where I will be racing 85cc 12-15, supermini, and schoolboy 1. Outside of racing I like to snowboard multiple places in Minnesota and Wisconsin during the winter but also continue to ride dirtbikes 2-3 times a week indoors at the Cedar Lake speedway. I am a 4.0 student outside of my hobbies and we take school seriously at our house. I also work with my dad on everything, mostly the bikes but also the trailer, motorhome and things at home like tractors. Currently i have a 2025 mc105 supermini, a 2025 mc85, a 2024 mc105 supermini and a 2024 mc85. I will be racing the 2025s this year.
Riding Goals
This year I will be racing 3 classes. 85cc 12-15, supermini, and schoolboy. I plan to be top 5 in the state championship for both 85 and supermini and plan to get some seat time racing my supermini with the big bikes in schoolboy. We plan on going to the regional qualifiers in all 3 classes with the intent to qualify for lorettas. We also plan on racing mini-o's at the end of the year. I will be going to Georgia for training before the up coming season. Most importantly I plan on finishing the season safe and will try to match our 2024 season of racing every district race without missing a single weekend.
