Personal History

I am 17 years old.  I do home schooling through Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School.   I am a Junior.  I decided to do home schooling this year so I can concentrate more on my racing career, have more time to practice and more time to work to support my career goals.   I love to ride my dirtbike.  I have been riding four wheelers  since i was 4 years old.  I got my first dirtbike, a Honda XR50Z, when I was 6. I still have it today and refuse to sell it. My next bike was a Honda crf100F then a Honda crf150F.  I now race a Honda crf250R but practice on my Honda crf450R. I finally started racing Hare Scrambles in March 2008 and I love it.   In June 2010 I joined AMA District 34 raced several Motocross races ending up 3rd for the season in Schoolboy Lite class.    I am currently sponsored by  O'Neal Racing, Amsoil and Richard Bush General Contracting from Portland, PA.   My goal is to become a professional Motorcross Racer.

Riding Goals

My goals for the past season were to  race more MX races and practice alot ! Well I did that and placed 3rd place in the Schoolboy Lite class with AMA District 34. It helped me come to the conclusion that Motocross is definately what I want to race !! I also was looking for sponsors  to help support my racing career and am now sponsored by O'Neal Racing  and Amsoil as well as  Richard Bush General Contracting of Portland, PA (also known as my father).   The past season with the Northeast Offroad Championship Series (NEOC) I wanted to place top 5 and ended up 6th place !   I raced the GNCC race in Ohio on 10/10/10 and came in 24th. It was a tough race both terrain wise and length of track. I wiped out and broke my front brake handle so I didn't have any front brake for most of the race. If that hadn't happend I know I could have had a better finish I came in 24th.  But it was a great experience and I plan on racing more GNCC's in 2011. Can't wait!   I was fortunate to be able train at Club Mx in Chesterfield SC this past March - until I landed short on a jump and broke my ankle.  Had to go home to Pennsylvania to heal but plan to return to Club MX to pick up where I left off in my training .

Competitive Highlights

My first season of racing I was placing second place each race.  My goal was always to come in first and I almost achieved it at the Evansville race.  I was running first place the whole race until I fell and my rival passed me.  It was one of my best races and very exciting.
